'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10: Showrunner Steve Molaro Says There Will Be Changes In New Installment, Leonard-Penny Wedding Will Be Chaotic

Days ago new set photos showing the marriage of Leonard and Penny in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 was released and now showrunner Steve Molaro revealed that there will be changes in the upcoming installment of the show. He noted that there will be a lot of drama and things going on during the wedding.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Molaro said that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 might show the feather of Leonard sleeping with the mother of Sheldon. The arrival of the mother and drug-addict brother of Penny might also ruin the re-do of the vows of Penny and Leonard. Molaro added that the premiere of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will pick up the very next morning when Season 9 ended.

When the publication asked Molaro if there will really be a wedding featured on "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, he teased that it is something that the viewers are not expecting and that it is more of a "wedding gathering" than a wedding. There will reportedly be stress between the mother of Penny and her brother as the tensions between the two characters will be shown evidently. Another matter that will steal the thunder from Penny and Leonard is the fact that Sheldon and Leonard might become stepbrothers.

In another interview with Glamour, there will also be changes for the women of "The Big Bang Theory." In the season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory," Penny expressed that she is not too happy with her work and when Molaro was asked if she would be changing her career, Penny is thinking about that issue but she has bills to pay and that there are storylines in the upcoming season that works around Penny and Bernadette being in the same company.

As for Bernadette, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will show a normal pregnant woman and it is possible that she will be giving birth in one of the episodes this year. Molaro teased that the show will explore the emotional repercussions that Bernadette will be feeling since she was open about telling everyone that she does not want to have kids. She might also think about her career and how she will balance it out with having a baby around.

Molaro also talked about Amy and Sheldon possibly having coitus again in the upcoming season of "The Big Bang Theory." Given the circumstances that Sheldon has a lot of conditions when it comes to having sexual intercourse, Molaro said that possibly letting the two characters have intercourse again since they are approaching their anniversary might be in the storyline for "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will be returning to the small screen this September 19 on CBS at 8 P.M.
