Beyonce Posts Photo With Daughter Blue Ivy Amid Vegan Diet Backlash

There's this expression "You know what they say about opinions: everybody has them." This exactly applies to celebrities and their fans.

And 33-year-old singer Beyonce has undergone them all, among many others. Last Monday, "Good Morning America" hyped up the legions of Beyonce fans by promising them an announcement from Bey herself, as reported by Mail Online.

TV viewers who awaited the said announcement were annoyed that it turned out to be just a promotion for a vegan diet service that the singer has developed. Amidst the backlash from her fans and followers, Beyonce kept mum and instead proceeded to post pictures of her with daughter Blue Ivy and Jay-Z on Instagram. These were said to have been taken during their vacation in Italy.

One picture was of her and Blue Ivy sitting on a bed and looking relaxed. Another photo was taken of the pair with some flowers outside. The last one was of husband Jay-Z smiling at their daughter.

Irate fans and their online rants were the talk of the Internet Monday, after the said diet was announced. Many were expecting news of an album launching, or a concert tour. Others even went as far as expecting a reunion with the other Destiny's Child members. The letdown was apparent based on the reactions of the netizens.

"I just wanna say I set my alarm for 6:55 to hear beyonce talk about a diet. I am not happy," says Twitter user @Mogulsociety.

"I honestly thought that Beyoncé's announcement would be something like that she's pregnant or she would drop a new album, but no she's vegan," says another fan, @janinalukinmaa.

Beyonce mentioned that she had some problems staying on a particular diet through the years, and this current one worked out well for her. She noted that this 22-day nutrition program was developed both by her and celebrity trainer Marco Borges.

To emphasize the point, she even posted pictures of herself in a cut-out swimsuit, notes Hollywood Life. One could see the perfectly-trimmed body which is a positive result of the said diet. If anything at all, this confident announcement may well compensate some of her disappointed fans who were not expecting this promo from her. Just her new sexy toned body might be enough for her personal advertisement campaign.
