NBA Trade Rumors: LeBron James Pressures Cleveland Cavaliers To Re-sign JR Smith; Carmelo Anthony Wants To Reunite With Smith In Knicks!

Cleveland Cavaliers have finally won its first NBA title, thanks to LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, J.R. Smith and the rest of the Cavs players. This offseason, James and Smith have joined the free market. However, LeBron James has already signed a $100 million deal with the Cavs but J.R. Smith remains in the free market. Reports have it that James is already pressuring Cavs to re-sign his former teammate, Smith.

LeBron James wants a back-to-back NBA title for Cleveland Cavaliers. However, to make this dream possible, the King needs a solid backup. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are staying with Cavs but James wants to play with J.R. Smith this NBA season again.

During J.R. Smith's birthday, LeBron James sent him a warm birthday greeting. The King added that he is excited to get back to work with Smith as his wing backcourt. Aside from James Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson are all-in in bringing J.R. Smith back to Cavs.

Parent Herald previously reported that Cleveland Cavaliers already offered J.R. Smith a highly competitive and aggressive deal. Cavs general manager David Griffin confirmed this himself. Smith and Cavs already admitted that they want to team up again this NBA season and the matter now rest at Smith's hands. But is it?

In the King's statement via ESPN, James said that negotiations are always two parts but Smith already did his part. In fact, the former Cavs' shooting guard has been showing up every day and has been working so hard.

Meanwhile, Carmelo Anthony also believes that J.R. Smith is a major player to Cavs. However, in case, the player won't re-sign with Cleveland Cavaliers, Anthony expresses his interest in reuniting with Smith in New York Knicks, Forbes reported.
