Microsoft Announces Unlock Date for 'Gears of War' 4

According to Gamespot, Microsoft plans on releasing their popular game "Gears of War" 4 for Xbox One and PC starting October 6 at 9pm PT. The first edition will be the Ultimate edition followed by the standard edition.

It will be the "Gears Of War" 4 Ultimate Edition that will be released on October 6.The digital copies for the standard edition will be released later on October 10 at 9pm PT.

 Those who want to preorder "Gears Of War" 4, Microsoft Store is already carrying the game and will be available upon the release game. Preordered copies can now also be pre-loaded into any Xbox One console or PC. Buying "Gears Of War" 4 online will enable players to play anywhere as long as they have access to an Xbox One or a computer.

It has also been confirmed that the game will have a singular day one patch for the players who have bought "Gears Of War" 4 physically. Microsoft will also be holding an event at 3pm PT which will include a lot of exclusive news only for the participants. According to IGN, the event will also include a lot of freebies and will feature very well known personalities on the internet. There will also be a lot of feature segments and new gameplay features that are exclusive to the new "Gears of War" 4.

On other news, Rod Fergusson, studio head of The Coalition confirmed a "Gears of War" movie in the making following the announcement of today's livestream event. Althiugh no details about the movie has been given out yet such as cast and plot, planning for the movie is already underway and fans will get to enjoy watching their favorite game come to life.

"Gears of War 4" is a third person shooting game developed by game maker The Coalition and is playable on Xbox One and PC. It may be played in Single Player mode as well as Multiplayer mode.
