'Limitless' Season 2 Renewal Update: Netflix May Air Second Season If Sweeney Changes Plot; Bradley Cooper Gives Up On Show

Months after 'Limitless' Season 2 got canceled and fans are still waiting for more news regarding the series renewal. According to recent claims, Netflix has started thinking about the possibility of renewing the series if Limitless can be given a different plot.

Before CBS axed the show, they started pitching "Limitless" Season 2 to Netflix and Amazon. Amazon immediately denied CBS but Netflix gave "Limitless" a try by releasing "Limitless" Season 1.

Fans immediately concluded that Netflix will pick up the show after that but according to reports, Netflix won't take "Limitless" Season 2 because of its complicated plot. Netflix also admitted that the plot may also make its fans lose interest like how it happened in Season 1.

When "Limitless" started its season, fans were mostly engaged and was watching every episode of Bryan and his FBI friends. However, during its mid-season, its rating started slowing down. Its unpredictable rating also created the decision of CBS to cancel "Limitless" Season 2.

Hope was also floating for "Limitless" Season 2 as Bradley Cooper can also help in having the show be picked up by any network who would want it. Since Brandley Cooper is the executive producer of the show, there is a chance that he can do some miracle and pull "Limitless" from drowning.

Reports, however, indicated that Bradley Cooper has decided not to intervene with the cancellation of "Limitless" Season 2 and he would just continue creating his films instead of helping Craig Sweeney in promoting the show.

Craig Sweeney, the writer of "Limitless" has already created the plot for "Limitless" Season 2 but because of the cancellation, Sweeney was just contented in updating fans on the fate of the show. According to Craig Sweeney, the show is still canceled and there is still no hope for "Limitless" Season 2.
