Guillermo del Toro's 'Trollhunters' Is A Feel-Good Fantasy Adventure Series

Once again, the creative musings of director Guillermo del Toro have given birth to an upcoming series in the Netflix universe. Set to air on TV screens before Christmas time this year, Trollhunters is certain to gather another huge fanbase following "Stranger Things".

While fans of the noted director are still waiting on the latest for a sequel to Pacific Rim, which del Toro directed last 2013, Trollhunters brings a couple of kids on another witty adventure. According to an AV Club post, del Toro has his signature on taking the scares to the big screen and Trollhunters is definitely not an exception.

With a recurring theme of battling good against them baddies, Trollhunters explores the story of a middle-school boy who becomes the newest hero helping the good side of the troll kingdom. Teaser snaps and trailers of the upcoming Netflix series' Trollhunters shared online have been pretty interesting as well.

On another note, Anton Yelchin , who voiced Trollhunters' lead character Jim, would surely be missed as soon as the fantasy adventure comes alive in Netflix, in a related Slash Film post. Since the actor's passing a few months ago, the network has been taking notes as to whether viewers would be asking for a new season with the predicted success of Trollhunters.

Packed with wacky, friendly Trolls who would be guiding Jim in helping them against their enemy leader and his trope of unfriendly trolls, Trollhunters aims to explore the depths of anyone's imagination in what seems to be a simple plot to save the human world and what lay beneath. del Toro's long-time collaborator Ron Perlman ("Hellboy") would be lending his voice to one of the characters in Trollhunters, together with Kelsey Grammer ("Storks") and Charlie Saxton ("Silicon Valley").

Not slated to be an unbelievable miss, kids and kids-at-heart would truly love Trollhunters. Coming to Netflix on December 23, the new magical universe of Trollhunters is something to look forward to.
