'Timeless' Season 1 Episode 2 Recap : If You Could, Would You Save Abraham Lincoln?

'Timeless' has kickstarted its premiere with the fall of Hindenburg during the 1940s. The concept of 'Timeless' is about a time machine that changes the past, the present and the future lives of the people. 'Timeless' focuses on highlighted American histories for its episodes.

'Timeless' Season 1 Episode 2 started with another important historical moment. This time, 'Timeless' goes on one of the most important moment in American history that changed the lives of people, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

'Timeless' episode two started with Garcia Flynn, the time-machine-stealer and terrorist has taken the time machine to the 14th of April in 1865. The man responsible for Abraham Lincoln's murder, John Wilkes Booth is Flynn's intention to collaborate and kill president Lincoln.

The main cast of 'Timeless', Lucy (plays by Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (plays by Matt Lanter) and Rufus (plays by Malcolm Barrett) went back to the past to make sure the history will not be ruined. Lucy got involved with Abraham Lincoln's son, Robert, and was asked to come to the play with his father and General Grant. Lucy used a name Juliet Shakesman to present herself to when Robert Lincoln saw him lurking around at Ford's.

Meanwhile, Rufus encountered some African-American soldiers who were celebrating the end of civil war and came up with a fake name, Denzel Washington. Seems like the three main cast of 'Timeless' are not good with coming up with names. He got into a fight when the soldiers found out he's not a real soldier as he went back to 1865 wearing a soldier uniform.

The quest of 'Timeless' main cast to stopping Flynn in changing history has gotten Lucy to encounter Flynn, himself, again. Flynn's intentions of terrorizing the history as per the assassination of Abraham Lincoln has gotten Lucy to question it, considering the fact that Flynn has told her once again about the Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse still remains questionable for Lucy and so is the current changed present.

Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus have saved the vice president and General Grant. However, the great Abraham Lincoln was still killed by Garcia Flynn on the second episode of 'Timeless'. The history changed as it was not Booth anymore who killed Abraham Lincoln and the three important people, Grant, Johnson and Seward were saved.

Lucy's confusion as to why her sister haven't existed after the Hindenburg phenomenon led her to finding out that the person she thought was her father was just a lie. 'Timeless' Episode 2 of Season has shown the drastic change in Lucy's life as she finds out she has an engagement party, her mother lied to her about her father and the changed fact that she doesn't have a sister, at least, anymore.

'Timeless' is a Sci-Fi TV show that runs around a plot of a time-machine concept. Similar with "Dr. Who", the concept of past, present and future are involved. It's not a perfect TV series, according to TV Guide. However, 'Timeless' centers on a different level of controversial phenomena that happened in history. Another plot is about happen on the third episode of 'Timeless' on NBC, 17th of October, according to IMDB.
