Square Enix Announces 'Final Fantasy XV' Limited To Xbox, Playstation? PC Game Will Take A Year? VR A Possibility?

Square Enix announces that the "Final Fantasy XV" won't land the hands of PC gamers soon. The company would take a laborious year to finally reboot from Xbox and Playstation to PC.

In a report published by PC Gamer, the director, Hajime Tabata, did not give the full detail. In a recent interview of Vida Extra (in Spanish), he somehow indicated that the PC version would come out but not anytime soon. Tabata said that they are trying to make it better from what they are offering on consoles--if they are to work on the PC version.

He boasts that research must also be done to know the additional contents that would function unique in the PC version. He noted that the PC version should offer advance features and also should cut off some that are currently used in the console engine. PC Gamer's scoop says that Final Fantasy XV will only be available for Xbox and Playstation as of the moment.

While on the other hand, Gamenguide's report suggests that a virtual reality (VR) game would be possible for Square Enix. WCCF Tech said that this is likely to happen and a greater possibility for the "Final Fantasy XV."

Also to note, "Final Fantasy XV" always finds a room for improvement. With VR-specific DLC, according to rumors, the company can bank on the idea to promote the game better.

"Final Fantasy XV" was really in demand with its 30,000 units of FFXV Ultimate Collector's Edition tagged as soldout and preordered. But to further protect consumers from fraudulent buyers who are trying to sell the unit to a much higher price, to say the least, the retail price should only be $269.99.

Aside from the game, Geek also reported that Square Enix has something to offer when it comes to the daily dose of snacks. The Square Enix Cafe has opened in Akihabara. The cafe offers some of the most notable items and food found in the game, "Final Fantasy XV."
