'GTA 6' Latest News & Updates: Release Date Soon To Be Announced? [VIDEO]

The "GTA 5" is undoubtedly a success for Rockstar Games and it claimed that it is still riding on its achievement. However, huge fans of GTA are already dismayed because it seemed that the company has still no plans to reveal the release date of "GTA 6."

Rockstar Games said that they want gamers to focus first on "GTA 5" before releasing any update about "GTA 6." However, there are speculations saying that Rockstar Games had a hard time coming up with a multi-million dollar budget that is why it takes too long to develop the game.

According to Neurogadget, the "GTA 5" costs about $265 million to develop it. How much more if new features will be added for the "GTA 6"? There are rumors telling that the new update will have AR and VR support, which means that the cost will definitely be higher. And that also means there is a higher possibility that release dates will greatly depend on the magnitude of the next budget.

Taking a glimpse of the game, the "GTA 5" focuses on people who have different personalities- two nearly psychotic criminals and a virtuous young man. The game was also released on the PC MasterRace after a couple of years. But, at the time of launch, there are already approximately 200,000 active players who enjoyed the game, SteamCharts reported.

Its success has paved the development of "GTA Online." Such development allowed users in the real world to delve together. However, despite of its success, Rockstar Games want the game developers to work on newer updates for "GTA 5," instead of focusing on the release date of "GTA 6" at the moment.

Moreover, if Rockstar Games will follow the five year release pattern, then "GTA 6" should be release in 2018. However, it is said that it might take two years more for "GTA 6" to finally hit the store shelves, which means that it could be released in 2020.
