‘Pokemon Go’ Crossover To ‘Pokemon Sun And Moon’ In The Works; Director Junichi Masuda Hints He Knows How To Find Ditto

"Pokemon Go" creatures are suggested to interact with "Pokemon Sun and Moon" characters at some point in the future. This has been confirmed by Director Junichi Masuda of the Pokemon franchise who also revealed that he personally plays the well-celebrated mobile game "Pokemon Go." Additionally, he also hinted about Ditto, a rare Pokemon that players apparently find hard to capture.

"Pokemon Go" and "Pokemon Sun and Moon" developers are reportedly working to connect the two Pokemon games together. In an interview with Masuda by GameInformer, he revealed that their team wants to see an interaction and connectivity between the games. "We want to have a kind of way to connect the two, or have a way for people who enjoyed one to enjoy some of their progress in the other," Masuda explained.

"Pokemon Go's" rare creature Ditto was also hinted by Masuda in the said interview. Masuda revealed that he is actually playing "Pokemon Go" and he is only at Level 24. He also said that he has an idea on how to find Ditto which may imply that there is a secret in finding Ditto that "Pokemon Go" players might just need to find out.

Masuda, however, clarified that the "Pokemon Go" and "Pokemon Sun and Moon" crossover is still being planned. In another interview with GameSpot, he said that the developers are still working on how to establish the connection between the games in the best possible way and added that they are considering the best time to release the new feature. "First, we just want people to enjoy Sun and Moon after they come out, then we'll keep working on ideas to best accomplish that," Masuda pointed out.

"Pokemon Go" developer Niantic Labs has just released a new update for the mobile game. "Pokemon Sun and Moon," on the other hand, is slated to come out on Nov. 18 but its demo version is now available on eShop. Let us know your thought on the crossover functionality between "Pokemon Go" and "Pokemon Sun and Moon" in the comments section below.
