"Scandal" TV Series News & Updates: How Did Actress Kerry Washington Handles Pregnancy While Doing Season 6?

Scandal star actress Kerry Washington, 39, gave birth the second time around but this time it's a bouncing baby boy. But the main question of the hit TV series "Scandal" fans is, now that she already gave birth, will the release of Season 6 will have a release date?

On the other hand, the "Scandal" actress was truly astonished by the adjustments that the team does for her during her pregnancy. Kerry revealed that in the upcoming season, in which she stars as Olivia Pope a political fixer. There were a lot of adjustments in the wardrobe department for her since her character is not pregnant on the show. A number of coats and props were used to hide her growing baby bump "Big coats, big bags... hiding behind different body parts of other actors" Washington revealed the tricks at her appearance at The Ellen Show.

There were rumors that the TV Series was already canceled. But the network announced that "Scandal" season 6 will only be postponed but not canceled.

Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Scandal shared that this is not the first time that they've received a shorter episode order in fact, while Washington was pregnant with her first child, Isabelle in 2013, the episode order for Season 3 was cut down to 18 episodes.

Though they've started to film some episodes before the actress gave birth, the network has not yet announced whether she has finished filming the remaining episode of "Scandal" Season 6, but rest assured that the writers will work double time to tie up all loose ends in the story plot and just hold our breaths with what will happen with Olivia Pope with the upcoming episodes.
