Cleveland Indians Vs Chicago Cubs News & Update: Which Team Will Win The Coveted American League World Series?

Destiny match awaits for baseball fans as the Cleveland Indians will face the Chicago Cubs for the much-coveted trophy of the American League World Series on Tuesday.

With the Cubs clinching their first title run after a long 71-year dry spell, they have a huge chance of bringing back the title to their city. Their last appearance in the World Series was way back during 1945.

Their win last Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers gave the fans of Chicago a deep sigh of relief and wild cheers of excitement as their club won the game. For decades, people in Chicago were patiently waiting for this to happen again. Avid fan, Adam Lewickas, a 31-year-old Chicagoan said, "My grandpa's alive for so long, and he's never experienced this," as reported in MSN Sports

In the same article, it is said that many fans became emotional as people started to walk to each other giving warm hugs and high-fives in the stadium and cars making a loud noise around the city. Anthony Madrano, another Chicago native said, "You've seen tears here tonight..." He adds, "Here in Chicago, it's just something special."

While the Cubs survived a seven-game-series against the Dodgers with a 4-2 win, the Cleveland Indians also were in for a historic run with their victory against the Toronto Blue Jays last week. The win for both clubs seem to be destiny as both have fallen short of the World Cup for the past decades.

The last time the Indians' appeared on the championship stage was on 1997. Since then, they've have never made it back also.

With the entire city and fans behind both baseball clubs, this will definitely be a series that the entire baseball nation should look forward to.

In an interview posted in New York Times, Cleveland Indians' pitcher Andrew Miller said, "I can't wait to see what it's like in Cleveland, honestly... I think it's going to be a lot of fun."

Which team do you think will make history? Can the Indians' bring another title in their city or will the Cubs' break the dry spell, go for the home run and make this year a destiny? Let us all find out as the series will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016.
