‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ Release Date, News & Updates: ‘Order Of The Stone’ Available For Free For A Limited Time

"Minecraft: Story Mode" fans rejoice! After a long wait for the release of the game, there is something nice waiting in store for the hardcore fans. Once the first episode, "Order of the Stone," of the game "Minecraft: Story Mode" releases, it will be available for free for Android, iOS, Xbox One, PS4 and the PC but only for a limited time.

"Minecraft: Story Mode" will involve the adventures that Jesse and friends undertake on their journeys. These adventures are no ordinary ones. They are filled with perils and dreads. However, rewards are ensured. The adventures include expeditions to "Overworld", "Nether" and "The End". In the game, it is Jesse and friends who decide and find out what went wrong when they meet an Order member. This will usually result in taking up a quest to find the Order and save the world, reported iTechPost.

The fans have eight episodes to look forward to. These is a lot more that fans can expect when the story of "Minecraft: Story Mode" moves forward. However, only the first episode will be available for free. The succeeding chapters will no longer be free. The gamers will have to pay and buy the episodes to continue their journey, reported PC Gamer.

All the players who want to embark on the journey with Jesse and company in "Minecraft: Story Mode" will have to find out options available through which they can buy the other episodes of the game. According to reports, the episodes can be purchased at special discounts with options to buy the full game via Season Pass, Adventure Pass, Season Pass Deluxe and The Complete Adventure for all gaming platforms.

"Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure" can be purchased from Oct. 25 for $29.99 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One in North America. The PC version of the game is yet to be released. The Complete Edition will offer five Episode 1 chapters and three characters coming from the Adventure Pass series. The game will be released in Europe on October 28.
