"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 spoilers reveal that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will be reuniting for the last time to give conclusion to Damon and Elena aka "Delena." In an interview with ET, series creator Julie Plec shared that the 27-year-old actress has expressed her interest in reprising her role for the series finale.

"She and I have spoken and I know that she 100 percent wants to be there," she said.

The only problem getting in the way of Dobrev's return for "TVD" Season 8 is conflict in their schedules. However, Plec was optimistic that she and Dobrev will find a way to make it happen for the final season.

Plec also hinted on a possible wedding in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. While Plec did not reveal which couple will be getting their wedding, fans are hoping it will be either Delena or Steroline.

Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley also told TVLine that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is all about Damon and Stefan paying for their sins. As most fans can recall, the Salvatore brothers are dealing with Sybil this season.

Wesley shared that "TVD" Season 8 will see Damon and Stefan pay for the consequences of their actions. Somerhalder shared the same sentiments and shared how he felt about his deep relationship with his co-star.
