'Grey's Anatomy' Latest News & Updates: Camilla Luddington Pregnant With Her First Child, Makes A Cute Announcement

"Grey's Anatomy" star Camilla Luddington is pregnant! The actress from Britain, shared the exciting news on Wednesday. She posted an uber-adorable snap of her holding a pumpkin with gold lettering announcing the baby's arrival in spring 2017.

"I am SO excited to FINALLY share with you all news that [I've] managed to keep secret for what seems like forever now... I am pregnant!!!!!!" she wrote on Instagram.

This will be the first child for Luddington and her beau, actor Matt Alan. She also went ahead to say that they are beyond happy. She added a load of heart emojis on her post and said she, "I cannot wait to bring you all on this journey with me!!!!"

Camilla Luddington who portrays the character of Dr. Jo Wilson on "Grey's Anatomy," promised to keep her fans and her followers informed as she starts on this exciting journey, reported ETOnline.

"But for now I figured [I'd] post this pumpkin because come spring [I'll] have a belly that size," Luddington wrote. It is still not clear if Luddington's real-life pregnancy will be written into the show or if she will take time off. ABC has not made any announcement on this, reported People.

Camilla Luddington gained popularity on the small screen when she played Kate Middleton on Lifetime's "William & Kate: The Movie." The current role in "Grey's Anatomy" as the surgical resident Jo Wilson also made her quire popular.

Camilla Luddington is dating Matt Alan. The couple was recently photographed at the Entertainment Weekly's 2016 Emmys party. Last month she shared a sweet snap of them sharing milkshakes on her Instagram.

Caterina Scorsone, Camilla's co-star in "Grey's Anatomy" is also expecting her second child. Jessica Capshaw welcomed a baby girl in May. Scandal star Kerry Washington also recently gave birth to her second child, a baby boy.
