‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 Air Date, News: To Follow Yuusuke Murata's Manga Version? Saitama Faces Defeat?

"One Punch Man" Season 2 is one of the most anticipated anime. Fans are pleased and excited after knowing that it is finally confirmed. With that, more spoilers, news, and details about the show emerged on the internet.

The first season of the anime is based on the original manga adaptation by mangaka ONE. It is possible that the second season is based on the improved version of Yuusuke Murata. Speculations also suggest that creative studio Madhouse will take some events from the interpretation of Murata, Christian Today reported.

In the version of "One Punch Man" by Murata, he did vast drawing improvements and even introduced minor alterations which are not featured in ONE's version. Fans who haven't seen the manga of Murata will most likely see some events from his version in Season 2.

Rumors also reveal that a surprising storyline will be introduced wherein the bald-headed superhero will face defeat. It is noted that even if he has done a lot to save the world, many does not believe in his capabilities including his colleagues in the Hero Association. Because of this, Saitama will pretend to lose to show everyone that his being part of the Hero Association is genuine.

Although some parts of "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature events from Murata's version, most of it will still be taken from ONE. With this, it is possible that Saitama will fight with the Hero Association against the top fighters of the Monster Association.

Aside from that, he will also be defeating Garou, a Human Monster. Garou is the first villain that Saitama will face who possess the same level of strength and stamina with him, University Herald noted. Season 2 will feature the first fist-to-fist fight with a fellow powerful human and not a monster.

"One Punch Man" Season 2 will premiere sometime next year. No specific date for the release is announced yet.
