New Perspective On Infant Development: How To Help Babies Learn Social Interaction At An Early Age

For years, it was believed that it is important to talk to a baby when they are a few months old. But just recently, it has been found out how talking to babies helps them learn social interaction at a very early stage.

A baby starts cognitively appraising his surrounding when he's only five months old. His language capabilities start developing at such a tender age, which shows that children start learning very early. According to Parenting Post, it is the manner of talking that teaches a child.

The study also showed that when the baby's age is around five weeks to five months and the child's mother responds to them in a sensitive manner, they become happy. But when their mother ignores them and do not give them attention, the child becomes reserved.

Parenting Science suggests that gender differences also plays a wide role in a society but it was believed that at the time of birth, it does not matter whether it is a boy or a girl. Their differences are set according to their age and growth.

Several research show that when a boy is six to eight months old, they enjoy having interactions with groups and with a lot of people. Girls who are six to eight months old, on the other hand, are more likely to have individual interactions. The new thinking and the development of the infant also depend on the gender of the baby, as each likes to have it in their own way.

Furthermore, it was believed that babies can only recognize voices of their closed family members but that has changed. In fact, recent studies show that when a baby turns three months old, they can recognize voices and the faces of people they encounter. With that said, a lot have indeed changed when it comes to the perpectives on infant development.
