'Samsung Galaxy S8' Release Date, Latest News & Update: A Replacement For Samsung Note 7, Now With AI Assistant And More Exciting Features

Samsung is releasing a new phone called Samsung S8 to compete with other high-end smartphones out in the market. This time with the help of an AI assistant to make the phone a lot more comfortable to use or should I say, to make SIRI jealous?

According to a report in Engadget, Samsung S8 has included the AI assistant as one of the star features of the phone. However, there are still no clues on what the virtual helper has to do, but Samsung has extended the AI's functionality when you already have it on the palm of your hands. The AI's name is VIV.

Samsung is trying to revive its momentum on sales just when the Samsung Note 7 stopped it. Critics say that Samsung should make this phone strong and safe to win back customers trust as well as their earnings.

It is said that the AI should work together with its consumers naturally especially when it comes to voice orders. VIV expected to create its own programs and can understand compound intent that other AI's cannot do.

As to the other features of the phone, the company is silent and did not discuss anything else other than the VIV. Samsung is focused that this phone will not have the same battery problems as the Samsung Note 7.

It hopes that Samsung S8 will shadow the issues that Samsung Note 7 has made. The exit of the Samsung Note 7 was not able to increase Samsung reputation for the company aims that buyers are assured that their phones are worth it.

The main intention of the release of Samsung S8 is to make the negative feedbacks of Samsung Note 7 into positive and it has already been confirmed by the company in a press meeting at its Seoul headquarters according to a report in Android Authority. Samsung S8 is expected to be out on sale early next year but no definite schedule is released.

In the first place, buyers want a phone that will never disappoint them most especially when it comes from Samsung.
