The latest live show of "The Voice" shocked fans with an unexpected twist. The show went ahead with a massive elimination as eight contestants were sent home in just one episode, says Fox News. The episode lasted for only two hours. Fans noticed that staging 20 performances of the 20 aspiring contestants for the one hundred twenty minutes show was too crammed.

Fans were initially puzzled as to how "The Voice", with the current number of contestants still in the running, would go about eliminations. Everybody was surprised when "The Voice" announced that eight talents will have to pack their bags and leave the show.

"The Voice" regularly airs twice every week. However, the network's coverage of the Presidential Elections took over the show's Tuesday schedule that week. Fans were disappointed about the show's outcome. They strongly feel that the show was crammed and obviously rushed. Performances were cut.
