‘The Originals’ Season 4 Air Date, News Update: Cast Changing? Will Hayley Marshall Exit? Klaus In New Spin Off Coming To The CW?

"The Originals" Season 4 from The CW may not be a safe place for Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin) although she vitally helps save the Mikaelsons Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Freya (Riley Voelkel). Meanwhile "The Originals," although itself a spin off of "The Vampire Diaries," may birth another spin off for The CW.

As Parent Herald cites, cast will be changing for The CW series after "The Originals" Season 4 finale. Leads Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Hayley Marhsall (Phoebe Tonkin) will see a shake up of the series in "The Originals" Season 5.

With parent series "The Vampire Diaries" drawing to a close, "The Originals" is expected to absorb more than a few characters alongside Klaus Mikaleson and Hayley Marshall. Chances are "The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries" will combine their strongest crowd drawers come Season 5.

Executive producer Julie Plec assured "The Originals" fans that The CW series will be kept on air as long as possible. Which sounds a lot like Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall could expect stronger storylines come Season 5.

Interestingly, Phoebe Marshall had been identified among the weaker performers in "The Originals." With a goal of enabling the spin off to avoid the same fate as "The Vampire Diaries," could Hayley Marshall possibly get the boot?

Could Hayley Marshall be killed off at "The Originals" Season 4? Or could Hayley Marshall be possibly transitioned onto a new series as a more minor character?

Julie Plec told Digital Spy that The CW expressed willingness to look into any new spin off that "The Vampire Diaries" EP could conceptualize. According to Julie Plec this universe has more to offer and Klaus Mikaelson and fellow "The Originals" characters may have a new town to visit in and outside of New Orleans.
