'Outlander' Season 3 News & Spoilers: Starz Renews Show For Season 4; PLUS! Conor McCarry As "Young Jamie"

"Outlander" revealed new cast members for its upcoming Season 3. To fans' delight, they will be seeing more of young Jamie, this time as an adult, which will be portrayed by actor Conor McCarry. Also, Starz announced that there will be a Season 4 for their hit period drama. 

McCarry is the latest cast added to "Outlander" Season 3. He's set to play Jamie, but not the young Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). McCarry will portray Jamie, the son of Jenny (Laura Donnelly), Daily Record reports.

The first time fans set their eyes on the young Jamie was in Season 1 when Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) set foot on Lallybroch. Jamie was taken aback that his nephew was named after him thinking that the young Jamie was a fruit of Jenny's traumatic experience with Randall (Tobias Menzies), TV Line reports.

On "Outlander" Season 3, fans will see an adolescent Jamie, who is set to be the heir of Lallybroch. What will be his storyline's biggest arc in the upcoming season? Fans will have to wait to find out.

And speaking of waiting, many are still asking when the premiere of "Outlander" will be released. Unfortunately, the show and its network Starz still haven't released an exact date for the premiere. But the good news is, it is confirmed that the show will have a fourth season. 

For now, fans can feast on some photos shared by the cast while on filming location. Heughan recently snapped a picture of a beautiful sunrise and shared it with her Twitter followers.
