Tragic Death: Teen From New York Accidentally Kills Grandma Before Going To Church

A teenage boy from Queens, New York, accidentally had her grandmother killed when he tried to drive backward into their driveway. His grandmother was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately, she wasn't able to make it alive.

In an article published by New York Daily News, the tragic death of Chandravti Lakhan was because of her grandson, Jadesh, 17, and his attempt to back the car in the driveway. It was his intention to provide more space for his grandma when she gets inside the car but it clearly went the other way because the 75-year-old lady was unaware of the car that was about to hit her.

During the investigation, the cops said that the grandmother was just walking right behind the car in the morning of Nov. 13 while her grandson had his feet on the gas to drive his way going to 267th, which is near 83rd ave. The family was about to go to church when this all happened.

Neighbors of Jadesh said that they have witnessed how he looks after his grandmother. It was just an unfortunate accident and you could just imagine the guilt and grief that the teenage boy felt after his grandmother died.

The Daily Mail also reported that the teenage boy was driving an SUV and witnesses of the incident could prove that what happened was never intentional. It was really sad and shocking for the entire family since Jadesh even takes his grandmother out and it is on a regular basis that he does it. So far, not one of the neighbors had anything bad to say against the teenage boy and all of them are just devastated about the accident.

This is not something new because accidents happen and it is sad that when your loved ones are affected by any unfortunate occurrence. Check out this video below as one of its examples.
