Sid Meier's "Civilization VI" is said to be the highest grossing in the Civilization series reaching up to a million players already. It is common for a game to have those bugs or problems when running a PC game. Below is a compilation of "Civilization VI"'s most common bugs and their fixes.

Developing a game can be considered as a trial and error practice. Though some game sequels fail to continue the legacy of the first game, others become great by learning from past mistakes. The "Civilization" series is one of those series. The game is built to bring out that dominant attributes itching to come out from the deepest part of the human psyche. Through trial and error, Firaxis Games was able to master its craft and bring the perfect simulation to exercise human superiority.

But like most tools, "Civilization VI" has its own problems. The good thing about it is that common problems have fixed. The general fixes in playing the game, first check if the game is compatible with the software and hardware, the second is to double check if the game was properly installed and always update the graphics.

In regards to the game hanging crashes, longer loading screen and time, the common fix for this is to make an exemption for the game in "Windows Defender." Another fix would be through Firewall exemption also. For sound problems, sound quality must be lowered down to 16 bit. For missing .dll files, reinstalling the ActiveX is the best solution. For players having problems with the game's AI and Diplomacy, check out the "Civilization VI" GamePedia's page on the game difficulty, which shows tables for AI's starting units and the bonuses that come with the challenges.

Overall "Civilization VI" is the product of Firaxis approach to player's feedbacks. The sixth installment was received by the gaming community with praises and kudos. Although there is still occurrence of a few bugs here and there, Firaxis will no doubt develop a fix for these issues immediately.
