‘NCIS’ Season 14 Updates: Cancellation Rumors Strengthens After Two-Week Hiatus? Photos For Episode 8 Leak! [SPOILERS]

Cancellation rumors for "NCIS" has not died down. It seems that the beloved series is on its way to cancellation as it has been postponed for two straight weeks. Here are some proofs why many cannot help but anticipate a cancellation for "NCIS."

Ratings for "NCIS" has been consistently dropping, which further strengthened the cancellation rumors. Although the series has been confirmed for season 15, reports claim that CBS may still cancel the show if it continues to drop its ratings.

Furthermore, fans of "NCIS" can also note how the series has been postponed for the past two weeks. Although it seems valid for CBS to postpone the airing of "NCIS" during the presidential election, the week before last week's postponement does not seem fit, which was just due to the MLB World Series. The midseason finale of season 14 of "NCIS" was supposed to be aired this week, however, due to revisions in the schedule, the airing of "NCIS" season 14 episode 8 was moved to next week.

The two straight weeks postponement and the continuous dropping of the ratings for "NCIS" season 14 seem to scare the fans, as it seems to confirm that the series is headed to its cancellation.

Furthermore, the rumored departure of some cast members also fueled the cancellation rumors of "NCIS." Harmon will most likely leave the show as a theory has surfaced saying the arrival of Alex Quinn was designed to eventually replace Harmon's position in the upcoming season 15 of "NCIS." Also, David McCallum was speculated to leave the series too. Fortunately for the fans of David, the rumor has been immediately dismissed as the actor has announced he will not exit and plans to stay in the show until he is able to do it, the Inquisitr reported.

Meanwhile, spoilers for the upcoming episode 8 of "NCIS" season 14 titled "Enemy Combatant" have circulated. Check out the promo photos here before the episode airs on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
