'Pirates Of The Caribbean' 5 News & Updates: Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom Quitting? Franchise Moves On, Renames Title?

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise is planning for a smooth transition as actors Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are reported to be unfocused on the upcoming projects and have planned to quit. Despite this news, series' fans are curious and thrilled on the update that "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will change its title from "Dead Men Tell No Tales" to "Salazar's Revenge".

According to reports, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will still feature the two stars - Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom - despite being unfocused. Disney is reevaluating the planned transition since Johnny Depp is not getting any younger and might not meet the demands for the upcoming sixth installment.

Brenton Thwaites, the British soldier named Henry in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5", is said to carry the franchise on his shoulder. With this, fans can expect spectacular outcome for the iconic Jack Sparrow's (Johnny Depp) role.

In another news, speculations about a title change are looming. "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" is said to change from "Dead Men Tell No Tales" to "The Revenge of Salazar" in France, Italy, and Spain and "Salazar's Revenge" in the United Kingdom.

There was no specific reason as to why the fantasy film will change the title but rumors suggest the plot of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will focus more on Captain Salazar's character, Jack Sparrow's old nemesis. Director Joachim Ronning did not confirm nor deny the claims.

Javier Bardem will play the role of Captain Salazar as the great villain of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". Does this mean less exposure for Jack Sparrow's character?

In the synopsis, after Salazar escapes from the Devil's triangle, he'd want to kill all the pirates, Jack Sparrow included. Reports have it that Salazar will put Jack Sparrow to an end and the latter will be needing all his wiles and skills to find the Trident Poseidon which could be his only hope for survival.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will feature an all-star cast and expected to be a blockbuster hit. The movie has the biggest franchise in terms of casting and star power.

According to a report, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" could be the send-off for Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow and to Orlando Bloom as Wil Turner. The movie is said to be released in theaters on May 26, 2017.
