‘Overwatch’ Free Weekend: Xbox Live and PlayStation Plus Required?

The "Overwatch" free weekend PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC which started on November 18, 2016, is currently live. However, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one owners need to have PlayStation Plus account (PS4) and Xbox Live Account (Xbox one).

"Overwatch" is going all out on this 3-day event featuring the all 23 heroes 13 maps that playable in various modes. Players will also be given the ability to upgrade and earn loot boxes with the freedom to access a certain variety of customization options. Instructions are pretty simple, for PC owners, downloading the Battle.net desktop app or logging in for those players who already has one.The next step is to type "Overwatch" in the search box and click on Overwatch free Weekend click download, install the game after download and click play once installation is complete.

For the PlayStation 4, the player needs to go to the PlayStation Store and download the game under "Overwatch" Free Weekend. For Xbox One users, the process is the same as the PS4, Players needs to go to the Xbox Live Store, look for the "Overwatch" free weekend and click on download. The "Overwatch" Free Weekend version is approx. 12GB. The game requires an Xbox live Gold and PlayStation Plus subscription in order to play the game.

The Overwatch Free Weekend shows how Blizzard takes care of its consumers, and 20 million players as of October according to DigitalTrends. Is no joke. "Overwatch" has been one of Blizzard's biggest due to the fact that this was the very first FPS developed by the company.
