'Wonder Woman' Latest News: Gal Gadot Talks 'Tight' Costume And Meeting Lynda Carter For The First Time

It's fair to say that Gal Gadot has had an unforgettable experience playing "Wonder Woman." From trying on her first costume, to her first screen test and her first encounter with the original "Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter, the Israeli-born actress is definitely having the time of her life.

She recalls how she tried her "Wonder Woman" costume for the first time and it happened three days right after she got the part. She went to work on a set in Michigan where she was asked to wear "Wonder Woman's" suit.

"I couldn't say anything; I couldn't breathe," Gal Gadot said, according to Heroic Hollywood. "It was really-really tight, so we adjusted it," she adds. Now, she loves the "Wonder Woman" costume because it complements the superhero very well.

The actress also recalls that time she got to meet Lynda Carter, who played "Wonder Woman" in the '80s TV Show. "My English got completely broken for a second there," she said, according to Geeky Tyrant. She also said that it's not surprising for Lynda Carter to be hailed as the very first Wonder Woman. "She is such an inspiring, beautiful, happy, funny, strong confident woman," Gal Gadot said.

Gal Gadot was picked to play Wonder Woman in 2013 and the character would also have appearances in "Batman V. Superman" (2016) and "Justice League" (2017), apart from her solo "Wonder Woman" (2017) movie. Because she had little experience as an actress, some doubted that she could do justice to the role, Hero Complex reported.

But after the release of "Batman V. Superman" in March, critics hailed Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. According to The Guardian, she was the scene stealer in the movie. Business Insider reports that she was the best part about the Ben Affleck-Henry Cavill film.

Movie lovers will have to wait until June 2017 to watch Gal Gadot in her full-length "Wonder Woman" feature. For now, check out the trailer to the movie below.
