'Final Fantasy XV' Release, Price & Trailer: Watch The New 9-Minute Teaser Ahead of Game’s Release; Director Appeals to Stop Leak

A week before the launch of "Final Fantasy XV," fans can now take a sneak peek at the PlayStation 4 and XBox One game. "Final Fantasy XV's" "101" trailer, published online, runs for nine minutes, introducing the characters and the game's mechanics. There is also a shorter five-minute version of the "Final Fantasy XV" trailer. You can watch both videos below.

Square Enix, the game's developer, will launch the highly anticipated "Final Fantasy XV" on Nov. 29. "Final Fantasy XV" is said to have a darker atmosphere and an interface that looks closer to real life than the role-playing game's previous installments.

"Final Fantasy XV" is set in the fictional world called Eos. It follows the quest of the character named Noctos Lucis Caelum to retake his homeland and its magical crystal from the empire of Nilfheim.

Ahead of "Final Fantasy XV's" release, however, there was controversy over footage of the game leaking online. Director Hajime Tabata told IGN in a live stream that Square Enix is already considering taking legal action to stop the leaks.

Tabata also appealed to fans to refrain from spreading the leaked content, noting that many people have waited a long time for the game, and it would be unfair to "spoil the fun" for other gamers.

"Final Fantasy XV" will also release a Deluxe Edition, which comes with a copy of the film "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV," a Royal Raiment outfit, recolored Regalia vehicle and Masamune weapon, according to Anime News Network. It can be pre-ordered for $89.99.

The Collector's Edition of "Final Fantasy XV," meanwhile, will have all the items in the Deluxe Edition, plus a 192-page art book, a figure of Noctis, musical soundtrack, camera kit and angler set, among others. It costs $269.99.

A Digital Premium Edition of "Final Fantasy XV" will sell for $84.99 and will include a downloadable version of the video game, as well as a pass for six downloadable contents or DLCs.
