'Fallout 4' Discounts & Promo: Price Drop Offered For New Title, 'Fallout Shelter' Coming to Android -- Details Here

"Fallout 4" was confirmed by Bethesda earlier this year and as more news hits the internet waves, a recent price drop has been announced.

In a report published by GameZone, Amazon has offered its Prime members a discount of 10% on pre-orders of the new video game.
The game, which will be available in Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, will cost prime members a special $52.99 price. "Fallout 4" is currently selling for a price of $60.00 over at the Bethesda store.

In related news, the franchise's mobile game spinoff titled "Fallout Shelter" will launch on the Android platform later this week specifically on Thursday, August 13.

Telegraph notes that the game was a success when released via the Apple iOS system back in June 2015. "Shelter" was made compatible across all iOS devices that include the iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch.

Sources report that the game quickly rose to top the app download charts and with its in-app purchases took in $5.1 million within its first two of release. Some of the game's pros include entertaining gameplay, visual aesthetics but some critics have pointed out the game has been made with "clunky"controls, reports Telegraph.

"We are going to support Fallout Shelter for a long time," said Todd Howard, Game Director at Bethesda Game Studios, during QuakeCon 2015. "This is something we did on the side and we were blown away by the response."

TechTimes has reported on what Bethesda will be adding to the "Fallout Shelter" game set for release on Thursday:

• New Enemies: along with raiders and RadRoaches, mole rats will now attempt to infest vaults and Deathclaws will launch invasions on shelters.
• Mr. Handy: a lunch box reward, Mr. Handy is a robot who will collect resources for the vault. He can also explore the wasteland and fend off enemies.

While the anticipation of the next-gen title remains at a fevered pitch, hopefully eager fans will be able to make do with the free-to-play gaming app until the release of "Fallout 4" on November 10.
