'Harry Potter Go' News Update: Is Niantic Almost Done With The Update? When Will The Most Awaited App Launch?

"Pokémon Go" made it big after the application launched on July 6, 2016. Gamers may be thrilled to finally hear updates in regards to the application, but the number of "Pokémon Go" fans drastically decreased after almost 6 months after the game was launched. With the lack of interest on the game, some "Pokémon Go" fanatics shifted their attention to the speculated app that would soon be launched to cater Potterheads.

"Harry Potter" fans calls for a petition to have a "Harry Potter" version of "Pokemon Go." They mentioned that "Harry Potter Go" would be a good promotion for the movie, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The petition explained as to what fans could expect in regards to the latest app where it was mentioned that "Harry Potter Go" players will get a chance to look for the creatures from Fantastic Beasts, goblins and other mystical characters.

"In honor of the new movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, you could search for magical creatures, like hippogriffs, and dragons, and goblins, and acromantulas. Follow the spiders Ron. The app could be a fantastic promotion for the movie," the petition site mentioned. "With Harry Potter Go, you could search for the seven Horcruxes, and then for swords, and basilisk fangs to destroy them."

The "Harry Potter Go" petition which was filed under the petition site already acquired a total of 61,000 signatures out of the 65,000 target. Several updates regarding the "Harry Potter Go" app was already released online, where it was even mentioned that the makers of "Pokémon Go," Niantic is already on their way in having the Potterheads' petition come to life. Though it may be exciting for most, it was reported that the whole "Harry Potter Go" updates were just rumors as Niantic confirmed that they are not working on the app as reported by Cinema Blend.
