How ‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel Made Her Mother's Eating Disorder Her Guide To Staying Slim And Fit

Bethenny Frankel of "Real Housewives of New York" witnessed the struggles of her mother a she was growing up with an eating disorder. She is aware of the condition's causes and ill effects and vowed to stay away from it by eating healthy. 

In time for the Thanksgiving weekend, Bethenny Frankel  Tweeted to her fans to be wary when dining with family and friends. She urges them to watch the amount of food they put into their mouth. She's not into starving but in spoiling one's appetite by starting with the nutritious selection first then eat everything you love. The key is in not to over-indulge. 

By eating a little bit of everything, one can enjoy the varieties of food offered more. Finger foods can be fun but make sure you have a system. Get a plate and organize the substantial food first to be consumed then the wants. This so-called skinny girl lifestyle is also in her books and in her Bethenny website.

If you want to drink alcohol, it is good to have it with some protein food  along side of it. It also helps if the alcohol is diluted in water or soda. Do not deprive yourself with the desserts. Taste them all but in small portions to enjoy them.

Erase the kind of mentality that you have to finish your food even if you do not want or need it anymore. Frankel stresses the idea of downsizing your food portions for the daily intake or during occasions. Stuffing your stomach could certainly lead to weight gain. So, avoid eating until you feel uncomfortable.
