'Girls' Season 6 HBO Release Date Update: All Past Seasons To Stream On HBONow; Trailer For Season 6 Already Out

The long anticipation is finally over. "Girls" Season 6 will be back on TV on Feb. 12. It is the sixth and last season of the HBO hit TV series, but it's not too late for those who want to catch up as streaming for five seasons are now available.

HBONow will stream "Girls" Season 1 to Season 5 the entire Thanksgiving weekend. Before "Girls" Season 6 airs, viewers can refresh the scenes that happened in the previous seasons, particularly about the relationship of Adam and Hanna. Other memorable scenes include Hanna's Iowa trip, Jessa's manipulative moves, among others.

To keep the hype of "Girls" Season 6 high, an official trailer has been released. It features the cast in a positive light with Hannah doing some surfing stunts while Jessa and Adam looking like they are in good condition. Of course, Marnie is still as irritating as ever.

The teaser starts with Marnie and ex-husband Desi in a scene together with Hannah as the latter was given a lift. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, co-showrunner Jenni Konner mentioned that Marnie and Desi will not be together anymore in the "Girls" Season 6. This should remind the viewers not to expect anything from the exes as Konner already confirmed their relationship.

At the end of the "Girls" Season 6 trailer, Hannah tells Elijah about her days in Manhattan and said, "I haven't made my mark on this city yet." Elijah responds with, "You've made so many wonderful friendships."

"Girls" is a critically acclaimed HBO series with several Emmy nominations, and two Golden Globe wins for best comedy series. The fifth season was a welcome return but the announcement of "Girls" Season 6 as the final season saddened the fans.

"I conceived of 'Girls' when I was 23 and now I'm nearly 30 - the show has quite perfectly spanned my 20s, the period of time that it's about - and so it feels like the right time to wrap our story up," said creator Lena Dunham, according to Variety.
