'Black Panther' 2018 Cast, News & Updates: Angela Bassett Joins Cast; Who Are The Avengers In The Film? [SPOILERS]

“Black Panther” is the new hero that Marvel will introduce to the big screen. Chadwick Boseman will play the lead role, and new names are also piling up.

The most recent addition to the cast is Angela Bassett. The Academy-nominated actress will play Ramonda, T’Challa (Black Panther).

T’Chaka (Ramonda) is the second wife of the king of Wakanda, Ramonda. His first wife died after giving birth to T’Challa, Los Angeles Times.

Another resounding question fans have been asking is whether Captain America will be in the “Black Panther” movie this 2018. However, Bustle reports that it wouldn’t be wise for Marvel, but a Captain America cameo is more than welcome for the fans.

The real question is would the “Black Panther” 2018 film focus on T’Challa’s revenge to Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan)? In an interview, the Winter Soldier hinted that there’s a possibility that he’ll appear in the film.

Sebastian adds that it’s fitting to start the film with where T’Challa and Bucky had ended in “Captain America: Civil War.” However, there is still no news of confirmation whether or not this can happen.

It’s clear the Panther doesn’t need anybody on his team. However, if he’s plotting revenge to Buck (Stan), then he’ll surely need some help to penetrate the team.

Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) is someone who Panther can ask for help. Though new to the team, Scarlet Witch can help Panther without bringing too much of the Avengers in the film.

So, what should fans expect from the movie? Well, it’ll be great to see Panther’s story unfold in the movie. Flashbacks for Panther’s life in Wakanda will also be a great part of the plot.
