'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 3 Spoilers: Annalise & Bonnie's Kiss Changes Their Relationship In 'HTGAWM'? Viola Davis, Liza Weil Speak!

"How To Get Away With Murder" winter finale capped with the biggest shockers on small screen last week. One of which is the death of Wes (Alfred Enoch) and another is Bonnie (Liza Weil) and Annalise (Viola Davis) locking lips despite the latter being a material figure for the blonde lawyer. Will this kissing scene change the relationship of the two "HTGAWM" ladies?

Entertainment Weekly got the chance to talk with the actors regarding the infamous kiss, and according to Viola Davis, fans have nothing to worry about as it won't change a lot of things. The award-winning "How To Get Away With Murder" actress told the publication that her on-screen kiss with Liza Weil's character is nothing but a spur of the moment. Moreover, the actress guessed that it is nothing sexual at all.

Previous "How To Get Away With Murder" spoilers stated that Annalise was in a tumultuous state following Frank's revelation of indirectly killing her unborn child. Adding to that is Annalise's endangered status after a murder case was filed against her.

Bonnie was in a depressing situation as well, after her father died despite their rocky past. Given their condition in "HTGAWM," it was understandable that the kiss is born out of a need for someone. As explained by Viola Davis, the kiss is definitely due to loneliness, abandonment and "a drunken stupor."

Liza Weil went to think the same as well. She revealed that even though boundaries in "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 tend to get blurry most of the time, she believes that the kiss is not sexualized at all. For her, it's nothing but an act of caressing for each other "in a very pure way."

The surprising turn between Annalise and Bonnie fires up curiosity among fans on how they will interact with each other in the latter half of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3. While others are stunned by the passionate kiss, Heavy reports that most of the fans were left confused.

Especially considering the fact that Annalise had bisexual tendencies, no one really knows how things can turn out in "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3. As "HTGAWM" showrunner, Pete Nowalk, said in a separate Entertainment Weekly report, the kiss could mean anything.
