'The Flash' Season 3 Will Bring A 'Justice League' Character Into The Fold To Help Vibe - Who Is It?

The third season of "The Flash" is going to welcome a character from the "Justice League" comic books. Known as Gypsy, the new character who also goes by the name Cynthia/Cindy Reynold, is expected to be introduced once the show returns to air in the midseason.

"The Flash" actor Carlos Valdes confirmed the arrival of Gypsy while speaking in The CW Fan Feast. He said that DC Comics fans are already familiar with the character, but the TV series fans will be watching Gypsy collaborate with Vibe, the actor's superhero alter-ego.

"[Vibe] will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her," Carlos Valdes said, according to Heroic Hollywood. Like Vibe, Gypsy possesses precognitive abilities. But unlike Gypsy, Vibe is still learning to master his powers on "The Flash" and she could mentor him in this aspect.

Bleeding Cool reports that Gypsy developed her powers at the young age of 14 and unable to handle it well, she became a runaway. She used to break into the Justice League headquarters and she also helped them beat out the villain Overmaster. She was then invited to become an official part of the team because of this.

Gypsy also has telepathic powers as well as the ability to cast illusion and camouflage. She can also influence the visions of her enemies, causing real damage that is helpful in the battlefield.

It's still unclear who the show has cast for the role of Gypsy in "The Flash." The exact episode where she will also appear has also not yet been divulged.

Meanwhile, "The Flash" is currently on a break for the holidays after airing the fall finale last Dec. 6. It will be back to air with a new episode on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017.
