'The Flash,' 'Arrow,' 'Supergirl' & 'Legends Of Tomorrow' Crossover: Stars Share Their Experience In Mounting This Huge TV Event

The CW is gearing up for its big four-way crossover with "The Flash," "Arrow," "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow." Entitled "The Invasion," the crossover kicks off on Monday, Nov. 28, and will be spread out over four days that week as the superheroes battle it out with aliens called Dominators.

The four-way crossover will begin on "Supergirl" on Monday (Nov. 28) and will continue on Tuesday (Nov. 29) in "The Flash." The stories will then be followed up on Wednesday (Nov. 30) on "Arrow" and Thursday (Dec. 1) via "Legends of Tomorrow."

A monumental event like this has never happened on a TV show and it's almost like watching a movie, except in four different days. The stars of "Supergirl," "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow" are giving viewers a glimpse of what they experienced working on the four-way crossover, via Blastr.

Stephen Amell of "Arrow" said that they prepared for the four-way crossover for five weeks. "I didn't have a day off for five weeks, but there was a spirit of teamwork that made it palatable," he said in the interview.

Melissa Benoist of "Supergirl" said that the scheduling has been "kind of chaotic" given that four shows are coming together. But she also said that she had a great time at work. "[There was] an electric energy any time we were in the same room, especially in our suits."

Speaking of suits, "Legends of Tomorrow's" Brandon Routh has lost his outfit in his show's on-going episodes. Yet it looks like he's getting this back for the four-way crossover, according to Bleeding Cool.

Grant Gustin of "The Flash" knows that this crossover is going to be huge. "We have 17 characters in multiple scenes and almost everyone interacts with every other character, at a certain points," he said, according to Screen Rant.

Despite the difficulties in mounting a four-way crossover, Candice Patton of "The Flash" thinks this will not be the last time for The CW shows -- if only for the fans to enjoy what they're watching. Her "The Flash" co-star Tom Cavanagh agrees that they are doing this for their viewers.
