‘Winds Of Winter’ News & Updates: The Darkest Days In Westeros According To George RR Martin; Emilia Clarke Still Hopeful?

“Winds of Winter” is the most anticipated sixth installment of the “Song of Ice and Fire” series. Westeros, for viewers and readers alike, will face darker times.

It has been 20 years that R.R. Martin has been repeating that winter is coming and, now, it has arrived. The author even added that this time, things would have to die. In its entirety, the world will be filled with darkness, cold and ice.

Martin also added that fans, both readers, and viewers, will have to prepare themselves as the sixth installment will not be a feel-good part of the series, especially for many of the characters, Time reports.

So, this could mean that there will be a lot of death, which is a normal and crucial part of the both the books and the series. The important question is, who will die next?

Fans will have to find out during the “Winds of Winter” release. As for the Emilia Clark, she also has some of her predictions. With her confidence, Emilia thinks that Daenerys Targaryen will have to sit on the Iron Throne to create a ripple effect.

She also believes that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Dany will meet in the seventh season of “Game of Thrones.” Still, the possibilities are endless as Jon could already be dead, could kill her, or even the two of them can be dead, too, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The question now is whether George R.R. Martin feels the same way in the “Winds of Winter.” It’s clear that most of the fan predictions were true and some were not, so Emilia Clark’s predictions are still just another theory.

For now, “Winds of Winter” will surely be both “bittersweet as it is happy.” Also, there’s still no release date of the book and the “Game of Thrones.” Nonetheless, the series is expected to air in summer, most probably April, following the pattern of the previous season releases.
