“Shadowhunters Season 2” is coming back and the “Mortal Instruments” roots of the show isn’t the only thing fans should be looking forward. For those who haven’t seen the first season, the who follows Clary Fray (Katherine McNamara) as she discovers her lineage.

This isn’t a simple lineage considering that she comes from a human-angel hybrid known as Shadowhunters. They are a group of angel hybrids who hunt demons in a world fill of dark magic, vampires, werewolves, and the like.

The upcoming new episodes from “Shadowhunters Season 2” will focus on the hunt for Jace Herondale (Dominic Sherwood), Comic Book reports. Though rooted from “The Mortal Instruments” one of the key differences of the two shows is the Institute. Now, the Institute is full of devices and new technology to help the Shadowhunters.

Some fans also believe that the insides of the Institute must also be seen more. This should include allowing the hunters to use the tech in tracking The Mortal Cup.

Lydia Branwell (Stephanie Bennett) isn’t a lovable character, at first. However, fans have gotten to understand and, eventually, like her considering that she’s really good at what she do. Fans are hoping that “Shadowhunters Season 2” should show more of her soft side, too, Movie Pilot reports.

Also, fans would want to see more of Meliorn (Jade Hassouné). It’s clear that they’ve just touched his character in the later part of season 1 that’s why they have to show more of his story.
