‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’ News & Updates: Steve Zahn On Bad Ape Character; Spoilers From The Set [VIDEO]

The “War for the Planet of the Apes” was presented by Steve Zahn and Matt Reeves, director of the film. Also, clues from the set also revealed some spoilers of the continuation of the “Dawn of the Planet of Apes” which debuted in 2014.

After the presentation, Steve Zahn revealed that his character, Bad Ape, came naturally to him. He didn’t even see the ape that they rendered the character from, but still, he got off easy with the effects.

However, when he came to the camp, Zahn said that he was nervous about it. He even thought that he needed more than two weeks to prepare for the role in the camp. Luckily, Terry Notary helped him find the core or the organic part of the character, Collider reports.

As for the spoilers, first stop, the film is true to its title considering that the “War for the Planet of the Apes” will open with a battle sequence. This is about Caesar (Andy Serkis) and Malcolm’s (Jason Clarke) conversation at the end of the “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.”

An overarching story in the sequel is that some apes are already fighting against Caesar. Some have already chosen to be part of the human army. The first ape to go against Caesar is Koba.

However, it’s been revealed that the apes will still grow in number to protect their planet. Nonetheless, they can still be outnumbered considering that the humans will have both guns and planes shooting against them.

So, who will lead the war against the apes? Wood Harrelson will play the arch nemesis of Caesar in the “War for the Planet of the Apes.” Harrelson will play Colonel who is willing to go to any lengths just to end the species who almost killed humanity, Den of Geek reports.
