Ubisoft's 'For Honor' Official Release Date Announced; New Story Trailer Has Been Released; Beta Play Registration Is Now Live

Ubisoft is happy to announce the release date of the new game called "For Honor." The game is set to launch early next year and will have its beta play before the launch. Ubisoft also announced the confirmed DLC pack that will come out, which are all for free.

According to the Polygon, Ubisoft will be launching the close beta play for the "For Honor" sometime in January this coming 2017. Ubisoft decided to have a close beta test in order to perform some test and tweaks that needs to be done before the official launch.

The "For Honor" will feature three factions such as the Vikings, Samurai and the Medieval Knights. Ubisoft already explained earlier that each class and faction will have their own unique style of skills, capabilities and play-style.

In a press release made by the Gamespot, it says that Ubisoft held an on-site allegiance to one of the factions of the game via the "For Honor" official website. This is part of the promotion of the game entitled War of the Factions.

As the "For Honor" multiplayer mode progresses, the game tracks every battle's result on all gaming platforms. In this case, player's achievements are recorded and will be used to sort the rank of every player.

Additionally, Ubisoft was able to give some details about the upcoming "For Honor" game, especially on one of the most interesting Heavy Class along with the new Assissin Class.

It has been said that the "For Honor" will feature 12 unique heroes to choose from, evenly divided into three different factions. Ubisoft presented the featured heroes in the trailer such as Samurai Shugoki, Viking Warlord, Knight Peacekeeper and the newly added Assassin Fighter.

"For Honor" game is a new breed of a sword-fighting game, better known as a hack-and-slash genre. The game is an action-packed game with a never-seen before kind of gameplay.

Meanwhile, the Euro Gamer reported that the "For Honor" game will bring new maps, game modes and DLC's in the future. The planned updates are announced to be free for all, though it has been said before that upcoming characters will be a paid content.

The close beta play registration is now live and can be accessed via the "For Honor" official website. The game will hit the market officially on the 14th of February on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
