'The Last of Us 2' News And Update: Storyline Revealed As Ellie Will Take Her Revenge; Mafia III Was Compared To TLOU Series

After the long wait, "The Last of Us 2" was finally announced by the Naught Dog as fans are expecting for the sequel of the game. While the Naughty Dog didn't mention a detailed information about the game, a trailer was released showing the Ellie as the main protagonist of the sequel.

A report from Jobs and Hire showed that "The Last of Us 2" will have a darker storyline compared to the previous title. As one of the two main protagonists of the first title, Ellie will be hitting the center stage on "The Last of Us 2" with the help of Joel.

The story of "The Last of Us 2" was reportedly about the fan-favorite Ellie. What makes the series more appealing to the fans is the progressive change of the characters, as seen in the trailer, Ellie is now older that seems to be mature enough to face the battles on her own.

In addition to the report, "The Last of Us 2" seems to be a revenge story as it looks like. A question still hangs around after the first title, it may seem that in "The Last of Us 2" everything will be answered.

On the other hand, the Forbes compared the Mafia III to "The Last of Us" series. It says that the Mafia III is a good game, but is far to be a great title until "The Last of Us'" success.

It has been said by the Forbes that Mafia III should stay out of being a GTA-copy, instead Hangar 13 needs to work on how to make the game more complex and straightforward.

Mafia III obviously has a great goal just like any other open-world game around, but it suffers to play in the modern game design. The Mafia III was stuck in the design of the previous title, same old gameplay, repetitive and is getting lame during the progress.

"The Last of Us" series should be the game that the Hangar 13 look up to. As the current generation in the video game world, if the game will not have a great online feature, then developers need to work on the storyline that will make the game more appealing not only to the gamers, but to the audiences as well.
