‘Mozart In The Jungle’ Offers A Satisfying Third Season Finale; Ana Maria Martinez Is The Voice Behind Alessandra’s Singing

“Mozart in the Jungle” wrapped its third season with a bang, literally. Yes, Hailey (Lola Kirke) and Rodrigo (Gael Garcia Bernal) had sex since they kissed in season one.

The season finale was intense for Hailey. She had to undergo a blind audition for the Symphony even though she’s already a member. However, it wasn’t enough.

To console her, Rodrigo went to her apartment to bring the bad news. The part was given to a guy whom Hailey had bantered in the past.

She was totally devastated considering that she needed a job and reputation. To pacify the situation, the two went for walk and talked about the origin of “blood” mantra.

The night ended with Rodrigo and Hailey solidifying their relationship. The two of them clearly had been positively affected with what transpired that night.

Will Hailey and Rodrigo continue their path even though Hailey doesn’t want to for Rodrigo? Fans will of “Mozart in the Jungle” will have to wait for the next season to find out, A.V. Club reports.

Another relationship solidified this third season is Gloria (Bernadette Peters) and Thomas’s (Malcolm McDowell) relationship. The two agrees on parental visitation and they commit to mutually respect one another in the process.

Also, another notable character in season 3 is Monica Bellucci who plays Alessandra in the show. Alessandra is the Italian opera singer whom Rodrigo uses to save the orchestra.

However, Monica is not a professional singer. Her singing voice in “Mozart in the Jungle” is actually from Ana Maria Martinez. She won the Latin Grammy Award in 2001.

Aside from her Grammy and big opera parts, she also performed in the funeral of the First Lady Nancy Reagan. Her “Ave Maria” performance was beautiful and somber, too, Bustle reports.

There is still no guarantee for a “Mozart in the Jungle” season 4. For now, you can watch the previous seasons in Amazon prime.
