‘The Affair Season 3’ Episode 5 Review: Noah And Alison Back On The Boat With No Affection?

“The Affair season 3” episode 5 titled “Back to Block Island” shows how broken Noah (Dominic West) and Alison’s (Ruth Wilson) relationship is. They have gone through this in season 1 and they’re going the same route with no affection this season, or are they?

Fans and viewers have to remember that the 55-minute episode is long enough to change the course of the story. So, here are Noah and Alison checked in the hotel and getting naked.

However, this isn’t the only important case during the episode. Similar to the previous episode of “The Affair season 3,” it still explored Alison’s capacity to take care of Joanie, specifically allocating almost 57% of the episode for Alison.

Alison knew that if she was seen with Noah, it’ll sure affect her custody for Joanie. However, she didn’t forget why she’s here; to hand the divorce papers, but they still went on to Block Island as Noah feels there is still hope for them.

It’s clear from this episode that Noah and Alison are clearly soul mates who have to suffer the inevitable separation they need. Noah admitted that he still loves Alison but, in the end, he still signed the divorce papers, New York Times recaps.
