Xbox Countdown Sale Began With Massive Deals; Gold Membership Available For Only $1!

The Xbox Countdown sale finally kicked off on Dec. 22 offering the biggest sale in Xbox history for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. The sale will last for 19 days slashing down prices of hundreds of games, apps, and movies and TV shows.

According to GameSpot, daily and weekly deals will be announced since 350 deals were earlier confirmed that will run throughout the sale. The first week is slated to run from Dec. 22 to Dec. 28.

Also, the Xbox Countdown Sale will feature Daily Deals for Xbox One from Dec. 22 until Dec. 31. However, these deals will only be available for a limited time per day, per Major Nelson. Xbox Live Gold members will receive an additional 10% discount on top of the game discounts offered during the Xbox Countdown Sale.

Among the major titles to be up for grabs during the Xbox Countdown Sale are the following: all 3 versions of "Battlefield 1," "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," and the various versions of "Final Fantasy XV" are at 15-35% off. Game versions are those games that have the standard version and their special, deluxe, and uber special deluxe versions, etc., as detailed by CinemaBlend.

In order to see the prices in your local currency and region during the Xbox Countdown Sale, you must log in to your Xbox Live account. Also, Microsoft is offering a monthly Xbox Live Gold membership for only $1. However, this is only available for people who never had an Xbox Live subscription before.

While old Xbox Live subscribers will not enjoy this, the offer is a great opportunity to win new Xbox Live users. So, if you know anyone who wants to enjoy the gold membership, this is the best time of the year to go for it.
