‘Frog Fractions 2’ Let’s Players Import ‘Mass Effect 2’ Save File Into The Game

After years of searching, "Frog Fractions 2" has finally been discovered. Lauded as one of the weirdest games on the planet, it has been hiding in plain sight. Now, the game has the ability to let players import their "Mass Effect 2" Save into the game.

GameSpot reported that a Twitter user found an in-game option in "Frog Fractions 2": "Import Mass Effect 2 Save." Check out the tweet below.

"Frog Fractions 2" will allow players to import the save file to solve a puzzle. By doing so, players get a message welcoming them back using the character name in the "Mass Effect" game. Other than that, there are no further reasons for such an import.

Game developer Jim Crawford told Polygon that "Frog Fractions 2" contains a puzzle requiring players to use different "Mass Effect 2" saves. Meanwhile, based on other players' reports, it seems "Frog Fractions 2" might be full of mini-games.

Back in 2014, "Frog Fractions 2" began as a Kickstarter campaign. Jim Crawford took to great lengths to keep the game a secret. The game developer noted that "Frog Fractions 2" will be unlockable through another game.

True enough, through the hard work of a group of internet detectives who call themselves GameDetectives following digital crumbs left by Crawford and solving a series of augmented reality games, they were able to find "Frog Fractions 2" hidden inside a cute fairy game titled "Glittermitten Grove," which was released a few weeks ago. According to Geek, the game did hide in plain sight with parts in over 23 different games that include "Crypt of the NecroDancer," "Firewatch," "The Magic Circle," and more.

Now that the puzzle has been solved and the game is out, "Frog Fractions 2" has begun introducing some bizarre secrets. Players can get access to "Frog Fractions 2" by buying "Glittermitten Grove" that retails for $19.99. The game came out for PC on Dec. 13.
