New Content For 'Smite' Has Been Outlined Featuring A New Set Of Characters, A Map And Many More

Hi-Rez Studios revealed that "Smite" is having a new character and the changes in the upcoming fourth season are already available in stores for players. It should be expected that there will be a wide range of revelation on the fourth season of the multiplayer online battle arena game.

The Celtic pantheon will be launched in the 3.25 patch with The Morrigan as an addition according to Gamespot. It is about a new Mage who can transform into a new set of characters. Hence, a special Path of the Phantom Queen event will also start during the 3.25 patch.

Moreover, players can unlock skins and items if they have completed certain tasks. However, players need to pay to join on this event. Amazon and Twitch prime members will be given a free access to a special Path of the Phantom Queen.

This year a new map will also be featured on Clash. The setting of the game is an Egyptian pantheon. There will be some important changes in its layout. The two-lane map will remain while Gold Fury and Fire Giant are already omitted.

More difficult challenges are featured on the buff camps as they have been adjusted already for "Smite." Players need to win the match because it is said that the patch is better than the previous one. Apophis is the new boss that emerged suddenly in the middle of the map. This new boss will offer unspecified buffs.

Meanwhile, Phoenixes started to attack in a different way because the units and towers have changed. The usual way of attacking enemies are already changed as players shoot a constant beam that can result to more damages according to Jadeed Games.

There will be new items to be featured on "Smite." However, Hi-Rez studios did not give any details about the new them aside from the starter and tier which item will be better. Item Relics is available to be upgraded for gold. New Relics will be added and some of it will be deleted. Expensive items are the Rituals as there can only be one-use consumables though the containers are refillable.
