Life is not all that easy in general. Everyone has to constantly battle life's issues whether great or small. However, there are those who seem to be just enveloped with so much strife that it makes it seem impossible to cope. The movie "A Girl Like Grace" tackles this struggles as one teenager deals with so much issues she needs to face inevitably.

"A Girl Like Grace" shows how one teenager manages to deal with life in spite of too much she has to face considering her tender age. She is battling the depression brought about by the suicide of her best friend and at the same time deal with the issues of her mother.

As she goes through life, Grace meets people along the way who she considers to be her friend. However, being the head strong young woman that she is, she discovers that she is not what she needs in her life. This so-called friend is named Share.

 

Through her journey, she learns the dangers of drugs and promiscuity. She had every reason to succumb to the temptation but she didn't. Grace is laudable for not falling into the trap of all evil things young lost teenagers do just because she has one of the most complicated life. It could've been an easy excuse to make her life miserable but she chose to stay away.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the movie "A Girl Like Grace" received good feedback from moviegoers as it returned 71 percent of people saying they liked the movie. There were a total of 165 reviewers to come up with the rating of the site.

As added by IMDb, the movie stars Ryan Destiny as Grace. She is also joined by Meagan Good as the sexual savvy, new girl in town who Grace thought was a good friend; Raven Symone as Mary who pains Grace with her constant bullying; Garcelle Beauvais and many more.
