'Three Days In August' Is A Good And Inspiring Movie About Adoption And Reconciliation

Being faced the hard truth of being adopted is one of the most dreaded moments an individual never would want to come across with. It makes one shrouded with so much questions about being the odd-one-out and of course, the truth about the biological parents. This can be a long and painful journey that many can handle gracefully. However, thanks to the movie "Three Days in August," it shows that it is indeed possible.

The movie "Three Days in August" gives hope to those who are adopted that it is possible to accept the truth and make amends with the biological parents. They may have their reasons which can be difficult to understand and accept at first, but eventually one will.

 

It is also inspiring that the movie revolved around an adopted Irish-American artist who invites her adoptive and biological parents to come and have their family portrait painted. This is the start of jarring, yet inspirational journey of all characters to achieving acceptance, reconciliation, and rekindling deep love between parents and children according to Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie also received good reviews from critics when it had its limited release on Dec. 2, 2016. Nationwide release has yet to be announced but so far, the movie delivered quite well. Because of its limited release, only 39 users rated the movie and returned 100 percent. The figure is expected to get higher as more viewers get to watch the movie.
