Beyonce Announces She Has Two Buns In The Oven, Talks About Heartbreak Over Miscarriage

The Carters are expecting two bundles of joy as Beyonce just announced that she is expecting twins. Jay-Z is set to become a father-of-three while Blue Ivy will be an older sister to the twin babies that are set to be welcomed later this year.

Social media got buzzing after the singer confirmed in a post that their family is growing to a number of five. Beyonce posted a photo of her cradling her bump on Instagram on Wednesday to talk about the pregnancy.

"We would like to share our love and happiness," the singer wrote in the caption. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. The Carters."

CNN reported that many fans of Beyonce took to Twitter to express that they are happy for the soon-to-be mother-of-three. One Twitter user said that she cannot handle the news that the singer is expecting twins and another said the news about Beyonce's pregnancy would be the happiest event in her life.

Beyonce was subjected to pregnancy rumors in the past but she never confirmed nor denied them. Her announcement came as a shock as no one expected it.

For her first baby, she only revealed her baby bump at the end of her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2011. Blue Ivy is now 5-years-old.

Getting pregnant, however, isn't a smooth ride for Beyonce. People reported she had a miscarriage in the past and it was one of her greatest heartbreaks.

In 2013, she talked about her miscarriage before she had Blue Ivy. She revealed on her HBO documentary "Life Is But a Dream" about the pain she suffered from after learning that she lost her baby. She shared in the documentary that she heard the heartbeat of the baby and referred to it as the most beautiful music she ever heard in her life.

Beyonce added "being pregnant was very much like falling in love," as one is overjoyed and could not put into words what it is like to have a baby growing inside of her. She revealed more regarding the miscarriage by saying she had complications in the early stages of her pregnancy and when she flew back to New York for her check-up, there was no heartbeat heard. She made a song for the baby, noting it was the saddest song she ever wrote.

It was not stated how far along Beyonce is with her latest pregnancy or when the family is expecting the twins' arrival. What do you think about Beyonce's baby news? Let us know in the comments!
