Lisa Marie Presley, Michael Lockwood Divorce: Custody Battle Heats Up As Elvis' Daughter Accuses Ex-Husband Of Child Abuse

Lisa Marie Presley's 8-year-old twin girls have been put under protective custody following the discovery of disturbing child pornography photos and videos found in their father, Michael Lockwood's computer. Police confirmed he was investigated for child abuse claims.

The revelation that Presley's daughters, Finley and Harper, have been in the care of the Department of Children and Family Services were detailed in a court document filed Feb. 7. Presley alleged she found "hundreds of inappropriate photos," on her ex-husband's computer and has reported this to authorities in 2016, as per Fox News .

The Beverly Hills Police, through Sergeant Max Subin, confirmed they investigated Lockwood that year, but found no cause or criminal activity to charge Presley's ex-husband. The agency was currently working alongside the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations in connection with the child abuse allegations that could matter to the ex-couple's divorce and custody battle proceedings, the Beverly Hills Courier reported.

Presley, the only daughter of Elvis, the King of Rock and Roll, filed for divorce from Lockwood following 10 years of marriage. Money matters have been one of the problems of the relationship, People reported in 2016.

Presley was seeking sole custody of the twin girls and she's also requesting the courts to deny Lockwood's claim for spousal support. Lockwood, through his lawyers, addressed Presley's child abuse claims saying that she deliberately exposed the information to the public as a retaliation tactic even without evidence.

Lockwood described his ex-wife as vindictive and dishonest, according to Perez Hilton. He further stated that Presley has besmirched his reputation, thus he cannot find a good job to support himself and has been living "below the poverty line."

Meanwhile, Presley has claimed she's currently broke despite inheriting millions from her father's estate. A business manager mishandled her finances and her ex-husband made the situation worse by spending most of her money during their marriage. Presley also claimed she moved from Tennessee to California to live with her older daughter to cut down on expenses, New Strait Times noted.
